Green-winged Teal Dabbling

Green-winged Teal dabbling in duckweed, Wakodahatchee Wetlands, Delray Beach, FL, Canon digital.

Wakodahatchee is just five minutes from my house and I’ve been photographing birds and other things there for 20 years. It’s changing fast though. The Wood Storks have kicked out all the Great Blue and Great Egret nests on the big islands. There are never Green- winged but sometimes there are Blue-winged Teal there. You don’t see Green-winged Teal there anymore.
